Is the life system mandatory in 5.0?
I don't see an option to remove the mistake checker like in the previous versions. Granted, turning off this system makes it easy to cheat by guessing, but I play on an iPod touch and with the small screen I accidentally hit the wrong boxes all the time. Now I can fail and have to start over if I don't have pinpoint accuracy.

Yes, but I will add an option to turn it off in a future update.

My suggestion, keep the mistake checker as optional but fix the issue with rows being displayed as incorrect even if they satisfy the clues. And don't display them as correct when extra cells are filled in along with the correct cells.
