Maximum number of creations per day
Some people are flooding the 'new' page with excessive numbers of creations at once, so a maximum number, maybe 5 in a 24hr period might help improve quality control by slowing down this. I want to see a range of people making puzzles, more new creators and creations!
Thanks for this suggestion. I’ve implemented a hard limit of 5 publishes per day, effective immediately. Hopefully this will cut down on abuse and make your hard work more visible!

The hard limit is definitely needed for everyone! Even some of the old hands like are getting a bit repetitive in their puzzles and need to polish their work. And while Elinu and Mss both create and play puzzles, some of the new feed flooders don't bother looking at other work - and end up creating the same puzzles or copying from the web. It is pushing people off the feed, and I want to support excellence and encourage creativity. I'm a dr who fan - but even I don't need to see another Tardis puzzle! I still think there are plenty of puzzles to do - I can't imagine there are people who play every puzzle available as per Elinu s comment at the moment - so a few less repetitive puzzles the better.

Why does the hard limit only apply to some people? I was denied publication all day yesterday, and I thought it was just a glitch, like the week before when none of the 25x25 puzzles worked. Today, I look and see that jcw and gemmamari and xstchr all got to put in 8-10 in the last 12 hours.
I don't want to see newbies publishing the alphabet or endless RPG pixel characters, the flags of the world, etc., but I was not having much trouble using the scroll bar and ignoring them. I can see where they would slow the game down, however, wnd so it makes sense to impose a limit. I doubt, however, that it will attracts more players if there are fewer puzzles to play.
I have a hard time telling which of my puzzles are "best", and I am often wrong about what will be popular. So, how do we judge which puzzles are the best "quality", if we can only put in a few?
Still, if this limit is to apply, and I have to choose my 'best five' puzzles a day, then I would like to see this imposed on everyone. -

This is badly needed. Today (7/18) 2 people posted 12 to 15+ puzzles within 5 minutes! That's not only excessive, but rude. Please limit these abusers.
