Don't limit publishing to 5 per day
I do not like the new rule at all, and I think it is unfair to limit people to publishing only 5 puzzles every 24 hours. I make a lot of puzzles, and a lot of people work them, and overall, I think I contribute to the game. Moving on the leader board is my only "reward".
I understand that you have to protect the server from newbies posting every letter of the alphabet on Saturday morning, but limiting authors to 5 puzzles a day only punishes people who actually play the game.
A better way to promote those who complain their puzzles get lost would be to select daily puzzle recipients from people who have not yet made the leader board, or who have less than 10,000 works, or some other restriction. I have complained in the past that these are distributed unfairly to presumably deserving players, particularly emouse33. Give daily puzzles to the newbies, and then they will not be lost in the crowd. Let the rest of us make puzzles if we feel like it.

Elinu, I'm sorry, but emouse's puzzles are better than yours on the whole, that why they are more popular. However if you are being reduced to 5, I may start following you again, as I had to stop. And yours are far better than some of the other feed flooding regulars. How about trying for the game centre leaderboards instead - far more fun and fair. Feed flooding also makes it harder to search for puzzles, as you get 50max showing. And people with old iPhones can't even search for puzzles and are more affected by the floodimg. I'd also like to see flooding not to be featured - I don't want meganpino or similar filling half the board - I want new people or good old ones that you think deserve featuring to be featured, and I've found many good ones trawling through the search option. Maybe a time limit on time between publishing to stop the multi in an hour thing, and make people refine their puzzle, and a reminder to check if someone has done it before?

I like to make puzzles, but when I can't publish them I get upset cause I work so hard on my designs and nobody can play them. There shouldn't be a limit to how many you publish or how many you play.

Ok - and now only some people are limited to 5, but not others? Are there criteria for who gets a limit? Is it an average limit, over a week or so, where you can still put in 35 Saturday mornings and then be done?
I'm confused.
