This used to be a feature in the game back before I re-wrote it from scratch in 2017. Players have been demanding it and I will add it in a future update. Thanks!

Yes, this. It used to be an option and I miss it. It actually makes the puzzles less of a challenge, too, when the squares get auto marked. Perhaps add a "check" option that costs something if there are incorrects.
