Preset palettes plus a custom palette editor would give artists more options, and letting players choose palettes per puzzle would keep existing designs unchanged.

For a nonogram, each clue is the length of a consecutive run of filled cells, not the total number in the row or column. A puzzle can have one unique solution and still force a guess; test that each move can be deduced from the clues alone.

A rename option would be especially useful if it changed only the displayed title, not the puzzle’s ID or existing links. That would let creators fix typos or update a title without breaking bookmarks and shared puzzle URLs.

A pinch-to-zoom mode with a way to pan around the grid would make 20x20 and 25x25 puzzles much easier on phones. It’d help to have a quick reset or fit-to-screen button too, so players can return to the full puzzle without losing their place.
A few fixed zoom levels would solve this without needing a fully continuous control. A small slider or cycle button could offer 1x, 1.25x, 1.5x, and 2x, with the selected level remembered while switching puzzles. That’d make it easier to find a comfortable view on different screen sizes.
