    I choose the daily puzzles by hand. Make a really awesome 20×20 that’s beautiful, original, captivating, or funny, and I may choose it! Leaving this as “planned” to remind myself to add this information in-app.

    I think the amount of plays also matters. The first puzzle I ever made was a daily puzzle, and shortly after I posted it I got a tip on it, and then shortly after I got a message it would be a daily puzzle and therefore kept out of the online section, to keep it a surprise. So it was barely played by anyone, but well-liked.
