If line lock keeps you from jumping from one line to another, to me that's a good thing! And I like the red Xs, since it tells me what I've hit that's wrong and keeps me from making the same mistake again. Since each mistake counts off towards locking out the puzzle, I don't want to repeat it.

I agree, they need to make the line lock as a toggle-able option, and they also need to make the forced red X that appears when you incorrectly paint a square as a toggled option

Please drop it or give us the option of turning it off.

I agree the line lock has made me lose interest in this game.

I don't know what the line lock is unless it is the graying of the entire line when you touch one square. This showed up with the January 2017 update. Now it is far more difficult to play and less fun.
